Default Performing break in procedures before fire up.

Making sure all is well before valve covers go on.

And a quicky!

Thank you!... and I'm just waiting for Pat G to create a tune and send to a local shop so I can get my break in tune downloaded. 1.5K miles afterwards, and its time to Go see him in Victoria, TX and do the real thing!

I am Excited to announce that my ride is completely assembled, down to drive shaft and kooks exhaust. Only thing lacking is a straight trough bullet and dump pre axle, but need a muffler shop for that.

Hmmmm have you looked into the Borla XR1? I have one in place of the SLP loudmouth resonator, really love the sound. I can only imagine how 2 of them would sound on a true dual setup

It's pretty loud, haven't measured DB, not going to be much HP loss since it's pretty much straight through.

Here's how mine sounds on a Y pipe setup:

I'll do some research on that model... im really looking for a non restrictive straight through muffler, that can be tolerable at cruising speeds.

Either the 40085 or 40086, can't remember. Trying to see if I have the part number somewhere.

So far ive been looking at the 40085... sounds really.good. if I go with this one, will a cutout be necessary to increase flow/hp.

Any input is welcome.

Here it is as how it fits with the QTP off road Y pipe, it fit right in so I believe it's the 40085.

You can get QTP electric cutouts if you want that extra sound/flow. I believe they are worth about 6rwhp last time I had checked that kind of setup. Here's an article about them: http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/h...haust_cutouts/

So if you want to squeeze the most that you can, go for it.

Thanks for the info... I will be going with a 40085 borla, sounds good, and revies are good. Cut out is a must as i will be spraying this set up and need to exhaust with no restrictions.
