If your talking about engine hp then the setup in my sig is probably around the 500 mark.

I think the heads/cam kits from TSP was like $2,000 with shipping.. It doesnt come with gaskets so you need to figure stuff like that in. Also you will need bigger injectors and a tune.

Really depends on your budget. I think your block will hold for some time until you start spraying the heck out of it.

Forged rods and pistons and the stock crank is all you'll need for a heads/cam/150 shot set up. For the abuse your gonna put it through on spray I'd definately look into a rebuild at those miles. You don't want to throw a bunch of new parts in it and then have a major failure and possibly destroy the new parts. I'd do rearend, rebuild, spray if nothing else, then build on later. Not sure what intake set up your running but a FAST would be good. You'll definately need injectors and a tune, driveshaft to make the 9" work, you'll want a SFI flywheel for that kind of power, I'd change the slave while its out, whichever route you go, timing chain and oil pump, gaskets, head bolts.

consider a ls1 383 stroker if you rebuild your short block.

were you wanting 500whp or 500 at the crank? Breaking 500rwhp on a stock cube LS1 is tough to do and very costly.

Lq4 for sure. Forget putting money in your current motor unless you plan on rebuilding it
