Guys,
new to the LS world. I have a complete new LM7 I'm installing in an old 50's car. What I don't have is an ECu or coilpacks. Should I just buy stock ones from GM or go aftermarket? no planned upgrades for the motor at this time, just a stock reliable one wth a 4L60E..the entire car is getting rewired from 6v to 12v in addition. Also any recomendations for a stand alone wiring harness for the motor would be great. thanks!

for the price and the very minimal performance differnce id go on ebay and get a set of truck coils and brackets, and pull a ecu out of a junkyard or oder one off ebay also, u can also send ur ecu off to get mail ordered tune also and it should all be plug and play, also truck coils are suppose to be a bit better then ls1 coils
