Default What's the record for STOCK HP, and TQ?

I'm just curious, and my searches yielded no results. What's the highest RWHP, and RWTQ that a LS1 has put out. Whether it be SS, WS.6, Firehawk, etc. I know some of the 02's put out some serious numbers stock.

I have a discussion going on with an Import friend and he doesn't believe that it's possibly for a stock LS1 to put out over 300hp/tq

Well look at the numbers in my sig - It's not technically stock but only has a few bolt ons. I doubt that my mods added 30 RWHP.

They add around 20rwhp so you car made the same amount of power all other stock LS1's did.

Absolutely bone stock, even the air filter... I put down 303.5 rwhp and 319rwtq.

That was my point. I was not saying mine was more powerful than other LS1s. He was asking if they could dyno at 300+ RWHP stock. I was saying that mine dyno'd after my mods at about 330 - so stock I should have been over 300.

I will throw mine on the dtno this week and let you know.
My buddy's made 313 and 321 TQ stock.
He also ran 13.1 stock after removing the air filter and running nitto's.

most ls1's dyno over 300 stock. your friend is an idiot, as is most of the rest of the world about cars. get your car dyno'd and never leave home without the sheets. my dyno sheets are in my glove box with my insurance card. anyone that wants to bullshit can go elsewhere when they try to argue ls1-power with me.

Same here, one of my dyno sheets stays in my glovebox....even though my numbers aren't as good as a lot of others (mostly newer cars) almost nobody that has asked believed me w/o looking at the sheet. That is good advice. A run on a dyno is not very expensive and can come in handy for many diferenet reasons.

I think the 99s tend to dyno less than other years. Mine dynoed 296 with a lid being the only mod. Of course mine did have 117k miles when I had it dynoed, so I'm sure it's lost a few ponies over the years. My stock times are in my sig.

The numbers in my sig with only a lid and dynomax muffler!
And the 1/4 time shortly after on shitty street tires.
Oh yeah and the 4:10 gears.

There are lots of variables involved when dynoing a car. The track doesn't lie....but, for conversations sake I have seen a bone stock Z pull 309 rwhp.

Wow. Your cars must come well tuned and have decent exhausts from factory. Over here in Australia our LS1s are crated from the US and pretty much mounted in the engine bay.

My car pulled 175rwkw (235rwhp) stock from Holden. After LS1 Edit jumped to 210rwkw/281rwhp. After exhaust, short 4-1 extractors and some CAI mods power is now 218rwkw/292rwhp. I dont expect to get much more out of it.

Either our Dynos read lower than yours, or the air is better up there. BTW I have an Auto.
