I know there are quite a few threads involving this, but all end with someone saying "Its stupid, youre wasting time" etc etc...

Its for a budget boost setup so I think the cam will work for now.

I had found a thread before that answered my question but with the recent computer crash I cant find it anymore.

My question is simple. What is needed to put a GTO LS2 cam in an 04 LQ4?

I have:

LS2 Camshaft
LS2 Front Cover
LS2 Cam Position Sensor
LS2 Dampner


The only part Ill actually be paying for is the Sprocket... And Im not sure which one to get. I know Ill need a 3 bolt, but do I need the 1x or the 4x?


The second question I have is I read someone stated there were issues with the ECM reading the signal from the LS2 Cam Sensor, it was only in one thread... Is this true?
