everybody says stall for an a4 car , but honestly that is a big job to do or expensive mod to have installed. I would do headers and cat-back before a stall. I am doing a stall when I do my h/c install.
I have bbk headers with magna flow cat-back , love the sound of it.

i just think for an automatic car a bigger stall should be one of your first upgrades.

you can install a Texas Speed 224r cam with a 114 lsa ,and it should work with a stock converter .I say do the good flowing exhaust ,and intake with a Frost tune .a small NOS kit will put a smile on your face when your feel like getting fast .

Im new to the LS1 world also. I bought a 01 TA WS6 about a month ago. It was completely stock. I got a Magnaflow cat back put on last week. Its not loud enough though. So I figured I need to do long tube headers next. Will that make it louder for me? I was also told not to mess with the cats, for smog test purposes. If I did a Y pipe, could I still pass the smog test?
