What are the differences between the 2002 Z06 OEM rims
versus
the 2004 Z06 OEM rims?
I know that the 2002 had a clearcoat and PREVIOUS years
did not. Also that the 2001 were a little lighter if I
remember correctly. Unfortunately I don't know
anything about the 2004 rims.
I want to know if the color is the same on the 2002
as the 2004, so I could mix and match a set of 2002
and 2004 and no one could tell the difference?
What about finish? any difference?
thanks

Not really shure on the diffrence, but I can tell you most people that have the ZO6 rims on an f-boby buy aftermarket ones, they are much less $$ than OEM rims and you can pick the sizes you want.

If you can find/afford em, get OEM ZO6 wheels like I did. They're made by Speedline, Italy, are really light, and b/c of the centercaps and other things, it's obvious (to me) at first glance who has replicas or the real thing. I did have to pound out the drivers' side, rear inner fender well a little to keep those big 18 inch 295s from rubbing.

As far as I know the '02-'04 wheels are the same. The '01s were forged and were a slightly different shade, in '02 they switched to spun and I think they have been the same since then
