1999 vortec 5.3 swap I just bought a 1999 vortec 5.3 im putting in my gbody regal, Will the z06 cam fit in this engine and would it be smart to change the stock intake manifold with that cam?

Yes a LS6 cam will fit, if you don't have any clearance issues, you can run the truck intake its a good manifold, the LS6 intake would be better but the truck intake is still better than a LS1 intake.

Thanks for the feedback... i decided to go with the z06 cam, and instead of running it fuel injected i'll jus use a Carb and intake (its cheaper any suggestions i was looking at the Victor Jr.), is ther a specific z06 cam that fit in this engine? i'll load pictures soon!
