So i picked up a junkyard LM7 out of a 2001 Silverado and I have it torn down as a short block in my garage right now, I will be running boost on stock bottom end with the exception of some ARP hardware. While I have it torn apart should I godhead and do the Trunion upgrade for peace of mind? Is it worth it?
Also when I took the rockers out of the head's I labeled each of them with a sharper in the order they came out....I plan on degreasing them and cleaning them....is it critical to reinstall them in the same order they were taken out?? even with the upgrade/cleaning?

Ok so I kept track of the rockers, but I mixed up the push rods.
If i'm planning on doing some mild head work and going with an aftermarket cam, will I wind up replacing the push rods anyway with hardened?

You can use the pushrods, it's not required to put everything back the way it came, but that is what is recommended. Probably won't hurt anything. Many people don't keep track.
And yes, many cam packages come with hardened pushrods. Highly recommended.
