Default Porting plastic intake manifold?

anyone have any useful tips for porting a plastic intake manifold off a lm7?

The stock truck intake I don't think can be really improved on. I don't recall anyone porting one as most swap it to the LS6 intake. But don't take that the wrong way the truck intake can hold its own below 6k rpm. Its just usually swapped due to height and how ugly it is. The long runners are the issue up top, its more of a bottom end power maker.

I was told to smooth molding flash (a little further than the factory clean up) and smooth the mold parting lines.
dont go ******* with the turns and the radiuses...gm nailed it for torque...would take pros with years of experience and fancy gear to get better results.

were talking negligible number from what I hear though. that time is better spent at work making scratch to pay for a proper dyno tune.

just some hearsay though

1s1 < ls2 < truck intake < ls6 intake .OP don't go crazy on the porting ,the walls are thin .and consider a BBK intake if you want more power .they go for $300 .
