incorrect!!! my car never picked up any different on the 150 than a 100 shot. The car even ran a little RICH on the 150 shot and to date the best pass I have made on the 150 was a 11.66 @ like 116 but the 100 made some 11.4 passes @ 116 also..... but on average the 150 shot made 1-2 mph more but all of the times the traction was around the same..... being the 11.4 a dead hook and MANY 11.6's on a 100 shot spinning a little.... and the same 60's as the 150 on those.....

But anyway...... you shouldn't have any trouble outrunning him IF you don't let him get out in front of you on the line and you are a good solid shifter.

should be a very good race, it all comes down to the driver. And though I understand '03 cobra's run strong, a bottle fed and h/c ls1 are a hellofa force to be reckoned with. all said and done though, my vote goes to the f-bods, for both .

I live in mississippi and our highest octane is 93. Is 91 the highest you can get in cali? I have been there b4 but I guess I didnt realise it.

If your a good driver as well you can take him with the spray (100 shot). If you suck at driving don't waste your time.

Take that 85 dry shot and turn it up to a 100 with a set of 32 nos jets. You will walk him and if he crys tell him power adder Vs power adder boost Vs juice.

TIGER 69, yes, out here in Cali we can only get 91 octane. It sucks too, because the further West you go, the higher the price gets, and the lower the quality of the gas goes. For crappy 91 octane, it takes me almost $40 bones to fill my '00 Z28. (more like $35-37, but still) The Carolina's were nice though. 93 octane for $1.20 a gallon. .... Ahhhh the days.

93 is about $210 to $215 here which seems to be lower than a lot of places. I guess I can expect high prices like that in a few years. Going to move out there when I finish medical school. Of course it shouldnt matter then. But right now im trying to scrap by.

Well I don't know about the other mods but with that Fram filter you really got him beat!

Okay, seriously unless the Cobra has a pulley you're going to beat him with the 85 shot. If detonation is a problem put some Sunoco 100 in at the track as was said. Take no chances though. Make sure you go all-out and show no mercy. You can be damn sure he won't.

With what he has he should cut 12.4-12.5, my son as stock with STREET tires ran 12.6
My son has 03 conv (4000 with 150 # driver) pulley, exhaust,chip , nitto' @448 hp with only 900 miles runs 11.88 @ 117 mph,(when he can find hole to put the shifter in) drops me about 1-1 1/2 cars most time when he can shift
