in this small town (15k people or so) there are 2 MMM firebirds (on ttop, the other convert)
a gold 98 SS w/ single exhaust (was this an option or the only option for SSs that year?) that is driven by a hot teenage chick
And a few other v6s with some other more rare colors...

Sharp car evil02z! That Tom Henry SS is sweet too. I have an 00 MMM Z myself. I'll have to admit the color takes some getting used to. It does look much better in person and especially after some Zaino. I think it also needs chrome or polished wheels and other accents to brighten it up a bit. I just went from the chrome 5 spoke factory wheels to painted ZR1's with 17X11 out back. Well I don't like the painted wheel so I'm getting something in chrome or polished.
Anyway, the best thing about that color, or any of the rare colors, is being the only person at a car show with that color of car. I went to Camaro Superfest last year in Michigan and there were only 2 MMM cars there. The other one was a V6 car. I think that color makes for a sexy looking car too vs. the other colors. Oh, did I just say that?

A TA with the ram air hood in that color will really be a head turner, extremely rare I bet. Personally, I like the look of the stock hood the WS6s have. It goes so well with the lines of the car.

I happen to have a 2000 Maple Red Metallic TA, I've never seen another in person but as of today I have found exactly 3 others on the web, one on the previous page. I've recently put a WS6 hood. The color is awesome in person, it's a nice, rich and dark color. Here are some crappy pics. I'll post some better pics as soon as I get them.

Did anyone notice that the ebay seller says it's a FORMULA, is it just me or is that NOT a FORMULA. I thought they had different fog lights and a different spoiler.

I don't know about 4th gen VINs but some if you run the VIN through the decoder TA/Formy do not have different VIN #s.
Checked, V means Formy/Trans Am in 4th gen VINs

Thanks for the complements it now has a SS rear spoiler '69 Z emblems on the front fenders. It's fixing to get a cowl hood. I broke my VIN down by percentages and mine is one of 4 with my options. Or should I say lack of options.

Yeah it's a Trans Am 2ndGen. You can tell by the spoiler...Formulas have small, unpronounced ones, front bumper w/ foglights, and the hard to see "Trans Am" badge on the door.
You know what's crazy...I remember reading somebody on here was looking at a Formula Firehawk hardtop that was SOM. Talk about rare!
