Default Backfiring SS
Just wondering if its a common thing for our cars to back fire after start up? When I let the car sit for two days or so and start it up I will get half way down my street have the RPMs up around 3 grand and then get a nice little "pop" from it. Anyone got any ideas?

depends on your exaust, mine "pops" pretty loud through the open Borla when I shift.

Ok I guess we found the problem, I'm runnin the borla open.

All LS1s pop when cold. If not fully warmed up,
push the clutch in, and pop.
I've had over a dozen and they all did it.

My GMMG "POPS" at WOT when I shift too. Why would it do that

so it only pops on M6's ??? i have wide open borla on my z28, but its an a4, and doesnt pop, guess its only an issue for the 6 speeds ?

my formula has a A4 and it pops when cold, and sometimes when hot. Its definally my exhaust though.

Well I'm glad now that most everyone is gettin the pop. I was gettin worried there for awhile and when you have some one in the car and it goes "POP" They look at ya like you got 4 heads. Thanks for the input guys....

oh, my M6 does it a few times after I fill up with gas. Borla here too.
