Default ls6 d1sc procharged questions about my new car

Hello all, my name is ryan and I am new to this site. I just purchased a 2000 camaro ss below is a list of the mods. I am just curious about your thoughts and input on how the car is set up. I am open to any thoughts if the car can be improved. The prior owner sugested I get used to this site and make some friends lol : ) I am looking forword to your replys.

Forged 346 ls6 block with diamond pistons and callies rods. 9:1 compression, 228/234/588/598 115 LSA LG motorsports cam w/ stage 2 lq9 patriot heads. D1SC procharger at 13 to 14 lbs of boost. 3.4 pully (sdce 8 rib setup) crank pully is pinned, twin 3.5 intercoolers. Slp headers, billy boat exhaust, alky methanol injection, bmr rear suspension, torque arm welded sub frames, rear lower control arms, drive shaft saftey loop, walbro intank fuel pump, hot wire kit and 60 lb injectors, ls6 intake manifold w/ pilished and ported throttle body, throttle body coolant bypass, speed density tune, yank 3600ss converter in fully built 4l60e, sfi flex plate.

Few questions,

Car has nitto 555 315"s on the rear.. is the stock rear end bound to blow up ? 7

Any good guesses on how much power this setup is making ?

Thanks for your interest and replys .

Front mount intercooler would be on my list as well as a dyno tune. As for the rear, if you put a sticky tire on it and let her eat, you will likely have carnage on your hands.

Welcome... Sounds like you bought a nicely set camaro. You should be in the 650-700 hp range with that amount of boost. The stock rear is the weak link and it will eventually go, the auto is a little more forgiving than the 6 speeds but I would start to save up for a rear. A front mount cooler will keep the inlet air temps down on long pulls. The 3.5 twins are maxed out at the boost level your talking.

Enjoy the new ride, sounds like fun.

thanks for the reply Conan, I am very proud to own this car.. the prior owner put a lot of blood sweat and tears into this thing. I will highly consider the inter cooler. can some one recommend a good inter cooler for the d1sc?

I would do some searching in the forced induction section a check out all the different setups. There's a ton of different ways to skin a cat. I'm running a CX racing 31"x12"x4" cooler from ebay, and I put together my plumbing from a couple places.

I would give Bob @ brute speed a call. He sells A LOT of pro chargers on here and will recommend a good front mount for you. I would also start doing research on a new rear for when that one expires. Bob can hook you up with one or Midwest chassis makes a good 9" as well.

Here is the complete ProCharger race intercooler package, it will keep the inlet air temps much cooler than your 3.5" twin intercoolers do. If you want to see a copy of the front mount intercooler installation instructions, send me an e-mail to brutespeed@gmail.com asking me to e-mail them to you. Thanks. Bob
