i tried some noname brand 93 octane gas that was $.05 cheaper than the Chevron that i always used and the car started to ping today going up a hill, 85 degrees weather and a/c on.

i've got NGK TR-6 in there, new wires and just few mild bolt-ons.

so now that the knock sensor caused a retard in timing.....i'm going to get some Sunoco 94 in there asap.....how long before it reverts back to normal performance timing?
