Stock Sway bar bushings vs Poly
Would it be a benefit to swap the stock rear sway bar bushings out for poly bushings on a stock '94 Z28? The one's on there now are stock & look ok, just looking for an inexpensive upgrade.

Probably wouldn't notice much but does make an incremental improvement. If you replaced all bushings with poly you would likely notice it in driving but likely not just one set of bushings. Good preventative maintenance though as it is unlikely your 20 year old bushings have much life left in them. You risk a bit of extra noise with poly but it can stiffen up sway a bit.

I'd replace the bushings (and end links) just based on age!
FWIW, I replaced mine with Energy Suspension bushings/end links when I went through the suspension of my '02. I didn't notice any noise, but it helped eliminate any "floaty" or "loose" feeling. They're also an affordable upgrade. I got my stuff from UMI Performance

If the car is relatively low mileage/fair weather driver/garage kept, then the stock bushings might still be in pretty good condition.
Doing only the rear sway bar bushings alone and not any other bushings or components probably won't make any noticeable difference at all, unless the stock ones are in such bad shape that they are practically missing.
