How do you reset the ecu on the 1998 trans am.any help would be appreciated.

leave the battery unplugged overnight... that'll do the trick for ya.

And any parts store will read/clear any error codes for you on the spot for free generally..if that happens to be what you're after.

Is there a way to reset the "learned" parts of the calibration without disconnecting the battery? With a scanner perhaps?
