Well my first and only mods were SFC's, cutout, and LId. Have been very pleased with my decision.

deffinately pick up a set of weld in SFC's! They stiffen the car up so much, its incredible. Then buy a catback and headers

I waited 36k to do mine and I can see places where my body panels are slightly misaligned as well as when I installed them you can tell that the chassis (sub frames) were not perfect. I mean I have T-tops so maybe that added to my weakness but for the $200 or so that they cost DO THEM FIRST and then get a cat back and gears.

you cant go wrong with subframes, because no matter what mods you plan to do to the car they will always benefit!

just my 2 cents.
what shaneSS said is very true.my first mods were the slp cold air induction "flowpac" and a pair of weld in hotchkis sub frame connectors and i would suggest atleast a lid/filter and SFCs to you also

I'd save up a bit more, get SFC's, Catback, LT's, and "tune"

It's definitely not a good first mod IMO. First mods are generally, intake, exhaust, tires, etc. The whole point of modding cars is to increase power/performance. A new clutch isn't going to do a thing with stock power.
Well, you have not heard from me then. I am not sure about the 01's and 02's, but my 2000 clutch has never been able to hold at the track. All I have is 320 rwhp and the clutch would never hold more than about a 2500 rpm launch with out going up in smoke. I have never had the clutch stick to the floor, it just would not handle a launch at a sticky track and that was with the stock Eagle's. Of course once it spun on the launch it would get hot and would not recover the rest of the pass. Eventually it got to where it would also slip whenever you power shifted as well. This clutch still works fine for everyday driving on the street, but a McLeod twin is patiently waiting to be installed so it can go back to the track. By the way, this was by no means a race car, it has only been raced 4 or 5 times and has run a best of 13.12 at 109 but it was never able to take an aggresive launch (not even on the very first track date).

The first thing you need to do is make the thing breathe. Get a K&N FIPK, some LT headers and some cutouts you'll be good to go... for a while anyway.
