ABS Failure
Hi All,
With my last saga behind me (permanently I hope!) we are onto a new one.
It would appear my ABS unit has failed so I have a new EBCM on order due in on Monday. I have 2 questions:
1. Does anybody have some photo's or a procedure how to remove & replace it? There are 6 Torx screws + 2 wiring plugs holding it in. That seems straight forward enough however I have NFI what is behind it when I take the plate off.
2. Will I need to program it or link it to the PCU? If so - how? (I have access to a Bosch scan tool capable of programming them (although I've never done it before))

Ok - to reply to my own thread.......
1. Easy straight forward swap - 6x torx screws and 2 plugs - took less than 15 min in total. There are cylinder things on the back of it which are attached and slide into the male pins. NFI how they work but anyway - easy job.
2. Works straight out of the box. No reprogramming required. To the Holden guy in the service department who insisted otherwise: go eat a dick.
