Need some help.. 99 ws6 auto. Here's the issue. Noticed oil on top of the air filter housing, intake-only on the top front. Don't really see anywhere else, doesn't mean there isn't any though. I'm about to throw a white sheet over the engine and wot a few times to see if and where it's coming from. Cause it has to be misting over the engine or something. Any help would definitely help lol thanks in advance guys.

 

Check filler cap and any PCV hoses. Past that, even a small leak that finds its way onto something like a pulley can and will end up anywhere or everywhere. Gravity usually takes most of it downward so take a look underneath for drips and such.
