Well this i smy first venture into anything ls and ive been doing some research to see about cost and all that.

I have no idea what im doing and im bound to break some stuff. so im going to build me a nice test bench so i can test and tune ls motors with out destroying alot of money. till i get good at it.

What do you guys think i will need for the stand to run a ls
Here is what i have so far.

Wirring harness(not sure what works with what models yet)
hp tune on lap top
exhaust
motor
igntion system
gas tank
electric fuel pump

Im not sure what else yet.

you probably want some kind of cooling system since you"ll running abit. quiet exhaust so you can hear things,guages as well.

Ill have plenty of fans and a nice rad with a shroud on it so it will stay nice and cool. I just have to fiugre out how to do the wiring and all that. Ive been reading up on stand alone harnesses but im not understanding alot of it

Go over to LT1Swap.com site he has good info on there. Basically your going to wire it like you would in a car.
