put a little oil in the spark plug hole on the low cylinder, it will seal the rings, if its the rings that are not holding the compression it will go up if it stays low it could be valves not sealing.

i just wanted to share what happened to me. after a new ls6 intake was added i had almost no power. what it turned out to be was a tiny wire coming off the sensor on the back of the intake that goes to the computer cracked / broke which caused me to throw a code.
