All the RPOs should be listed on the SPID sticker on the driver's door jamb. If that sticker is missing, or if you're looking for the definition of your specific codes, you can take your VIN to any GM dealer and ask the parts department for a VIS printout of your VIN number. You can also use a site such as Compnine.com to run your VIN and get a list of RPOs.

This is a beneficial link to get descriptions for RPO codes. Welcome to LS1Tech.com by the way!

The Formula looks like a v6 car (no trans am bumpers) but has the V8.
If your car looks like this (no trans am bumpers, low-rise spoiler), then its a Formula WS6:
Should also say "Formula" on the sides of the car (but that is easy to remove, so it may not have that).

The specific "WS6 Formula" was discontinued after model year 2000. There was no WS6 Formula for 2001 or 2002, but the base Formula continued on through 2002.
Having said that, all Trans Ams will appear on a VIN search as "V8/Formula", as there is nothing in the VIN that indicates the Trans Am package, only that it's a V8 Firebird (hence, Formula.)
What you have pictured above is a typical Trans Am WS6, but again it will appear as "Formula" on a VIN search because, as far as VINs are concerned, Trans Am/Formula are the same. To determine whether a given example has the Trans Am package you need to look further into the RPOs (for Y82 specifically.)
