ACDelco iridium spark plug part number
Having trouble finding an accurate part number for ACDelco iridium spark plugs. I've searched and most of the time it pulls up an ebay link for LS1 and I select my vehicle and it says not compatible. Numerous searches on this site have also turned up a lot of **** fights about NGK vs ACDelco. I have a 2000 Firebird Trans Am LS1. Found one website (http://www.ecklersfirebird.com/fireb...998-2011.html#) but can't find anything additional to verify. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Ahh...

Here is the complete rundown.
The original part number for the ACDelco iridium tip LS1 plugs was 12571164 when they were released in 2003, but that number is apparently no longer active. At some point the part number was updated to 12621258, and that seems to still be current.

There is currently a Delco dealer selling a set of 8 of this part number for $44 with free shipping. To make even better, there is a $16 rebate thru ac/delco.

Thanks for the replies.
Doing a parts search on acdelco's website came up with nothing for iridiums. With the numbers you provided I was, however, able to track this link down http://www.acdelcotechconnect.com/pd...-news-2013.pdf which says that 06 and older applications are now covered by part numbe 41-962 as opposed to the 41-110 (12571164) that you provided as of Aug 2013. Either way they still work I guess. What a headache.
Still only have 40k miles but won't hurt swapping them out while doing some other maintenance.
Edit: Misread. Looks like the 41-962 is for a platinum plug as opposed to iridium.

12621258 (41-110) was correct for iridium tip to fit an LS1 engine as recently as 2013 when I last bought a set for my '02 car. I still have a full spare set bought at the same time with this same part number, they are definitely iridium.
As you mentioned above, they have also re-released a platinum tipped plug for the older applications.
