Bypass power steering???

Bypass power steering??? I have heard that if u bypass the power steering by using another size belt it would help in horsepower. A friend told me what size to use but I forgot. Does anyone know what size to use to bypass power steering. I still have stock pulley.
Also I am installing a 3500 ss converter but I have 4.10 gears. has anyone had experience in gear swap out and what gears would be worth the most in 1/4 mile times. should I swap back to the 3.23 since i now have the converter? thanks. any info I would appreciate.

its not worth a couple horsepower, by the way your car will steer hard and you will ruin your steering rack, dont bother 'bypassing' the power steering or ac pully, its not worth it
