Building a 6.0L vortec motor for my 04 chevy 1500 silverado. Decided im Going with the ***** thumpr cam. I found that an lq9 is similar to an ls6 but is just a cast block instead of aluminum, therefore if im wanting to put an aftermarket manifold and throttle body on it i would be okay with running an ls6 manifold and throttle body correct? Im also wondering if i will need to get an aftermarket fuel pump for it and what kind of manifold and throttle body i should get, ive done some researching and cant relatively find much in the way of a good manifold like edelbrock or holley that will go with a cathedral port 60mm throttle body. if anyone could give me a lesson or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!
