How does weight affect the max capabilities of a diff or trans for that matter?
Under assumption that everything else is the same. And not being launch super aggressive on slicks.
Will a limit off 400trq on a 4000lb be like around 600trq on a 2000lb?
And side question in regards to traction/tire.
Is there. Ratio of weight/power vs tire width?(assuming same compound and diameter?
Meaning if a 4000lb with 500whp has traction with pair or 315
Then on a 2000lb car with 250 all you would need is like a pair of 160?
In theory of course because of other factors but if everything being the same is that how that works?
