Default Compression Ratio Daily Driver?

Hello, im in the process of purchasing a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am with the following upgrades, I'm really concerned about the compression ration stated on the vehicle, will i have problems with pump gas and will i be able to drive around town without problems? The posted ratio is 11.8:1.

Thanks

I run 11.5:1 on 93 with no issues at all.

I'd look at something else for a daily driver.

I agree, that's not a setup I'd ever want to daily drive as my primary vehicle. Could be fun for a weekend car though. Having said that, you might be OK with pump gas at that compression, depending on the tune, as the cam is pretty big.

You should have no issues with that compression ratio on pump gas, as long as you run 93 octane and have a good tune in it.

Thanks for the replies, looks like six in one half a dozen in the other. I guess the weekend and sometime daily is best
