what are need to be done to make the z28 LS1 a good drift car?
lower the car?

smaller tires size? (245 or 235)
suspension and chassis work?

suspension and chassis work? definently, get a drifting alignment job, and probably pull off the rear sway bar
will the stock rear end break? dont know but it wouldn't surprise me, go to some drifting boards and see if they break rears in RX7s/240ZXs, etc very often
any info will help, thanks.

The big thing about drifting seems to be control, you need to be able to control the slide. Control and tailhappiness dont totally go hand in hand.

One of the big engine things is to increase the oil capacity and make some changes to keep your engine lubricated the whole time.

drifting...... the art of breaking traction and sliding around a series of corners....
oh yeh... and you dont have to finish first to win..... gay......
you wanna drift sidestep your clutch at 4500 rpms and keep your foot planted to the floor..... hell i "drift" at almost every right hand turn i make.....lmao....hahahaha...
really ... drifting is a rice sport made up by rice cause they cant win all out at anything else.... in the us drifting is called dirt track racing and fbodys do it all day long

you know jaberwaki. It's seems that you have no clue about drifting. You think it's just a rice sport, well let me tell you a little secret. Most of the cars that compete in D1 or any other drift comp can prob kick the crap out of most of our cars(no offense). These cars make over 600 horse power and are built just for drift. Rice is a little hinda civic with a big *** wing on it and a loud *** exhaust

Well I have a ton of respect for guys who can drift in competition... I know it takes a tremendous amount of skill to do it. My only beef with drifting is the same beef I have with every "style competition" wether it be a car show, diving, whatever... there is no definitave winner... it's based on points given by judges who may be biased.... maybe I'm just simple but I like it where competitions have a clear and absolute winner (football, baseball, racing etc....)
You know what I mean ??

You guys are just associating drifting with the piece of crap hondas all over the place. The thing is hondas don't drift and they can't. Drifting is about having a well balanced car that can hold past the limits of the car and also the driver having enough ***** to do it. You guys think drifting is making you car go sideways around a 90 degree turn, thats bull. There is no real skill in that, try doing at 80 plus mph and then you'll understand what it's about. Like I said before these cars aren't under powered hondas these cars makeenough power to put down most of your cars and then some
