Hello, I am wondering what style of heads a factory LS7 has? I could not find it on a regular search.

In the future I want to do new heads for my LS1 when I can afford it, I have long tube headers, high flo cats, 3" exhaust, and all of the support needed for a TSP Torquer V4. So right now I'm running the factory LS1 intake manifold and heads.. I was wondering if maybe getting my hands on a set of factory LS7 heads would work? Like I said I'm just not sure what style heads the LS7 comes with.

Or, if a set of factory LS7 heads wont work.. could I get some suggestions on what a good set of heads would be to look at getting that aren't $2,000.00 dollars? I'd be willing to go up to $1100.00-$1400.00.

Also not sure what a good intake manifold to go for is or if in fact the FAST intakes are the best option it's just ridiculous how much they still cost after so many years of being out on the market. I've heard the MSD Atomic intake is not worth it.

LS7 heads are rectangular, not cathedral. But you wouldn't want those for a 346ci car anyway.

If in that price range, I would look at some of the TSP factory casting LS6 or 5.3L ported heads.
