I'm hardup about K&N filters and use the HP2006 long version on my car. I bought 5 on ebay for 50.00 shipped. Saved a little cash and will go nice with the stockpile of German Castrol I have in the closet waiting to be used. I truely love the K&N oil filter.

The K&N oil filter number is HP1007 for the stock one or HP2006 for the longer one.
Excellent info again from U Patman! Thanx!

You made the right choice. I have been using 0w-40 for a while now and it has been great. I'm using a long Napa Gold filter right now.

Mobil 1 oil filters are too restrictive to flow, which is why the K&N is better. The Fram is also restrictive to flow, plus it's internal construction is terrible, there are simply much better quality filters out there that cost the same or less than Fram (such as those Walmart Supertechs for $2)

Thanks, all the reason I needed to change filters.
