Many of us here are very happy with NGK TR55s in non-FI/non-N2O setups.

ngk tr55's ftw..... if u do get them makesure that you get the sparkplugs.. i told the idiot at the auto parts store the number and he cross refrenced it and brought me back glowplugs ... i then told him that they werent it (obviously) and he told me that i had the wrong numbers, i then asked the other person behind the counter (a women) and she said no problem and walked back and grabbed them for me with no hesitation... i dont know how people that know nothing about cars can work at an auto parts store... the girl sounds like she knows her stuff though

dont spay
for the price of a "good"kit you can do mo9st of your bolt ons.and maybe a tune.the ls1 internals are not forged, and if you dont know what you are doin with the spray, you can really f**k up your engine.do the bolt ons first

i talked to a nitrous express rep friend of mine he said he sprayed his 02 SS with a 200 shot on stock internals and bolt ons and nothing ever happened. i thought it was too much but he said the LS1's can handle that much but he wouldnt go over 200. if i were you do like a little 125 shot and full bolt ons im sure you'll be happy with the outcome.

My advice
NGK TR55's for N/A application's of less than 475rwhp
NGK TR6's for N/A application's of more than 475rwhp but less than ???rwhp and nitrous less than a 200shot, also forced induction applications.
There are other spark plugs for higher hp application's but I'm not too familiar with them.
I wouldn't go past a 150 shot if you are concerned for safety and longevity of your motor. Always get the car tuned. Always make sure you have enough fuel. If you plan nitrous I would definatly get some new injectors and fuel pump if you plan on going past 425rwhp. Also get the safety equipment associated with it. Fuel pressure safety switch and a wot switch for sure.
