The above image doesn't tell us much about specific original options. You'd need to provide a picture of the window sticker and/or the SPID sticker on the driver's door jamb before most questions could be answered. However, this question....

Non-SS cars had two optional ratios when ordered with an auto trans, both the 3.23 mentioned above and 2.73 (GU2.) But 3.23 (GU5) was a mandatory option for any SS (WU8) model ordered with the 4L60E (M30) auto trans (MX0.) So again, if you have an auto it came with a 3.23; if you have a manual it came with a 3.42.

Having said that, as it's an SS there were also additional SLP options that could have been added. Such options would have been included on a supplemental SLP window sticker originally, as well as a door jamb sticker on the passenger side door. The only SLP option that related to the rear was an Auburn LSD - so yours may or may not have this (if not then it has the base Torsen LSD that came in all V8 models.) But, regardless of the Auburn/Torsen, it has the same axle as any other and the gear ratio was not changed as part of the optional LSD upgrade.

Hope that helps.
