Now i have replace the o ring from the oil pickup for a bigger ovring (green oring)because it could be de wrong,en let it crank voor 5 min on the starter but now now oil pressure anymore, i have placed de plastic plug into the back off the engine en steel on the front of the engine

If the barbell is installed into the back of the block which one there was an old style and a newer style one. Also make sure the O ring on the pick up tube is not pinched in some way. I've always ran the blue O ring and make sure to lube it up real good with motor oil or Permatex Ultra Slick assembly lube before pushing it into the oil pump.

Don't forget to torque the pick up tube bolt down. I think it calls for 108 in lbs

Thanks for your reply

i have placed the old barbell with a new bleu o ring

before i placed the oil pick up back input some oil on the o ring en place it really slow into the oil pump, i think its not damaged.
i have now 10 psi on a mecenical gauge
with no spark plugs into engine and crank it for 5 min but not more oilpressure than 10 psi

and i dont have any oil coming on the cams
is the problem coming from the oil pump or somting else?

is that stock 5.3?
why u running high volume oil pump ? " stock oil pan " if its daily drive car u don't need HV oil pump just run standerd volume its more the enough!

u r cranking with out fire up that good u have 10psi on Starter
it will take time to feed engine around 20-30 rotation
