Default 4th gen ws6 LID question

Looking to open it up a little bit to breathe, and have been lookin at lids. Is it really worth buying a larger MAF and getting a lid to fit it, or is the standard one just fine? I was looking at fast toys, any other recommendations? I want the fit to be as perfect as possible.

It really depends on your mod list for the car.
I think you can get away with the stock 76m meter and SLP type lid for a bolt on car.

Once you get into H/C/I (blower/turbo) that's when I think a larger meter (85m+) and the bigger air box outlets/hoses/throttle bodies/headers etc come into play.

The SLP/98 FTP lid, 85m MAF, 92m TB, 92 Fast intake induction combo for a street H/C/I car would work well together and not break the bank IMO.
