Default 02 6 speed no shift

Is it possible to check master cyl. Operation by remotely hooking up a new slave cyl. Without removing existing master? Thks

I've never tried that before, but I suppose that might work. Hopefully the problem is with your master cylinder and not with your slave cylinder. All of my hydraulic shifting issues in the past have been related to a bad slave cylinder which is much more of a pain to replace.
