Default Upper radiator hose sensors

Got a 02 Camaro wanted to put in a glass upper hose or possibly a hose kit the shiny ones lol but there’s seems to be some sensors right where I need to put it. What are they? What do they do and is it possible to eliminate?

If you are in fact referring to the power steering cooler, then yes, you can remove it. Many people opt to remove it completely to avoid cross fluid contamination if the cooler fails, and they do.

Neither is a sensor. Those are rubber hoses not wiring.

It's a hose in and a hose out. It's a cooler. Coolers have two hose connections, in and out.

No problem, but now you have to figure out what to do with the power steering hoses, you could loop them together or you could put a tiny cooler in the front of the car and run the hoses to it. That's actually what most manufacturers do. I wouldn't really want to lose the cooler all together personally.

This one isn't special it's just the first one I saw when I googled power steering cooler. Something like this would be great and can fit just about anywhere. You could put it in a fender, lower engine bay, up in the front bumper etc..
