Default 5.3 lm7 build questions

Got a good deal on 1999 lm7 5.3 with e-1840-p and PAC 1218 springs to install (still in boxes). With 862 heads.
Just got a set of 243 heads and Camaro intake offered to me at a good deal.

Besides milling the 243 heads. Is there any other issues with this combo.
Looking to go with a 70mm or bigger turbo in the future.

You will likely have fuel injector electrical connector issues and maybe even different injector style issues to contend with in making this intake change. Depending on what vehicle you are dropping the LM7 into, you may need to remove that gigantic radiator fan on the LM7 and replace it with electric fans. I had to go with headers in my 70 El Camino because the exhaust manifolds were too wide.

Next . . . HUGE CAUTION HERE!! That LM7 truck oil pan hangs VERY low and will often scrape the ground on just about any car you might consider dropping it into. Hit that oil pan on just about anything and it'll crack with the almost immediate loss of every drop of oil in your engine. There's almost no way around this except to replace the oil pan with something else like a Holley 302-2 oil pan though there are others. This is what I went with and I have been very happy with the 302-2.

Thank for the info.
I'm dropping this setup in a 1967 Chevelle.
With a 4l80e trans.
Oil pan issue covered with the Holley 302-2.
The Camaro intake comes with fuel rails. Forgot to mention.
looking to run a turbo in the future and all said and done try and push 600hp.
Already going with dual electric fans.
I also have the stock ugly truck intake.

Your 4L80E will likely need floor pan surgery to get it to fit. You might consider the Holley forward bias engine mounts to buy yourself some room for the transmission but it'll likely still need floor cutting to get it to fit. I would also do whatever you want to do with the transmission cooling lines before installing the engine because getting to the fittings on the trans after installing the motor is kinda' tough.

Yes I'm going with the forward bias mounts and the Holley crossmember.
My main concern is with the 5.3 and the 243 heads.
if I have them machined .020 or .030 will there be any valve issues.
And what head gaskets to run.

You still need to change your injector plugs to fit the different injectors.
