Default Turbo time!

Ive been building my first lq9 build and now im to the good part... TURBO!! Im looking for something between 80-90mm cam anyone point me in the direction of best bang for the buck or best turbo for a built lq9? Any tips and advice will help everything is forged but crank i plan to flip the headers and use them with a t4 flange

If your looking for a 80-90mm turbo your going to want a t6 flange not t4

Everything is forged? do you have FBO too?

oh ok thanks i didnt realize that! Ive been looking at the kit from huronspeed for the ls1 ac retaining system.

everything except a stock crank. I have a fast 102mm with a 102 tb and nitrous outlet plate. A stage 2 btr cam and the heads are at the shop now getting stainless valves and 660 springs with titanium retainers

The internals are more important than the parts you mentioned when it comes to real boost. List off all the internals and people can point out anything that seems off and may be able to give you an idea of how much boost you can safely run.

stock crank, forged dds flat top pistons, with forged h beam eagle rods, arp main studs, trying to think of what else i could be missing for an internal list

no i didnt. Shop told me to just polish the journals. Think i should?

Ive just realized that even know its stock to the block and mains that the pistons and rods are what have changed so yes i answered my own question. Theres no doubt i jeed to have the crank balanced. Thanks for bringing that up. Things like this is what i need help with.

It's impossible to think of everything on a big build. The more eyes you get on the build the less likely you hit a snag. That's why I love this forum so much.

ive learned so much already from this forum. I love this site i wish it had an app version. Everyone seems to be really nice and pretty helpful as well

IMHO,,
For the $$, balancing the whole rotating assembly is some of the cheapest power and reliability you can buy..
