Default Building my first ls1

I got a ls1 from a buddy of mine for a pretty good price. The thing is, it doesnt have any heads or intake but it does have a ls2 cam. This is my first ls build so I'm looking for advice and opinions. I'm looking to be around 450rwhp when I'm done.

mods that I'm looking at:
-texas speed 228r cam. Or would the ls2 cam that I have currently be better?
-ls6 intake
-ls7 lifters
-forged pistons and rods because I plan on boosting it down the road and I want to bulletproof it
-high pressure oil pump
-ls2 timing chain
-243 ported heads

I've been doing some research the last few days and that's along the lines of what I think I need to achieve my goal. Any recommendations or advice would be great!

Rocker trunion up grade to bushing type , ARP rod and main bolts-studs, ARP head studs. new cam bearings ( rods need to be checked for proper clearance when using ARP bolts). Heads done by Texas Speed or equal. Proper ring gap for boost. Find a good tuner..Talk to Texas Speed or WS6 Store about a cam. Have fun!
