Default Not sure what it is? Need help

I have an unidentified engine and transmission.

The only anecdotal information I have is it is out of a 2014 Chevy Silverado, not sure that is the truth

Theses are the numbers I have off of the complete engine and transmission :

256132 stamped on the top RR of block

12560392 on oil pan

502 on right side of block

24208015-6 on tail shaft of transmission

42 3152 2334 on left side of transmission

53 on both heads

862 also stamped behind alternator, passenger and driver side of block.

I have no vin number to help with the identification. The motor/transmission is part of an investigation we are conducting.

Thank you for your time and effort in this identification

Not sure when Chevy quit using the 862-706 heads. I think somewhere around 2004-5 when they went to VVT/DOD I think they changed to 799-243 heads. I may be all wet but it sounds like you might have a earlier model than 2014. Some one on here can probably do a better job than I with the dates ..
