Default 5.3 with LS parts

So I知 new to making a thread on here but i have some questions. So I have a 2003 Silverado single cab stepside 4x4 with the stock 5.3. I知 wanting to do a cam swap and an LS intake swap. I知 wondering if I will need to tune it for the intake swap and if I can use my trucks original throttle body. I also know nothing about tuning a fuel injected engine. If I don稚 need to tune it for the LS intake then I won稚 do the cam swap. I feel like I知 a little in over my head when it comes to this stuff. I can tune a carb by ear but fuel injection I have 0 knowledge. Any help and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The truck intake makes more power than the LS1 intake so I would leave it, Most cams will need a tune.

Put something on the truck intake like This and you'll likely be the only one around to have them rather than the cookie cutter ls1 intake look. He will build you a custom set even, Go to this page to see some of his work.
