4.8-5.3 swap Purchased a 99 Camaro has a 4.8-5.3 my luck it’s a 4.8 anyways what is the best upgrade to performance keeping in mind mostly street needs to pass emissions use pump gas. Main objective wave to fords and mopars good buy in rear view mirror.

Depending on the emissions you have to pass, a turbo is out of the question. Tailpipe, visual, etc Having to pass emissions usually really cuts back on the mods you can do to an engine. Head porting, mild cam, tune... that kind of stuff will pass a visual and if tuned right, keep you within emissions specs.
