Radiator hose issue

Radiator hose issue
Recently had the radiator replaced on my 2001 Camaro SS and a couple months later the 3/8 hose has a pin size hole. Looks like an easy enough job however a friend recommended to by silicone hoses. Can anyone advise if this would be a good idea and if so, any recommendations on any particular silicone hose kit manufacturers or would it have to be custom???

Forgot to add a pic - it's the hose in the center with writing on top and connected right next to the radiator cap (Apologies - know more about motorcycles but the wife would not let me get another so bought a 2001 camaro SS with 56, 000 miles - but a work in progress. don't know to much about cars so appreciate all the help ). If the gates hose is the same then that will do - but if not can someone please advise.

Okay that 3/8" hose connects from the radiator to the steam ports in the head via hard lines off the throttle body. Might be hard to find an OEM replacement but some 3/8 high temp/pressure hose will certainly get the job done.

Looks like the OP's TB coolant line hose has already been replaced at least once before with some generic 3/8" line, because that's not the factory hose or clamps in his picture (post #4). So yes, he could certainly just replace it with universal fit 3/8" hose again. But I think I've seen some OE-molded type replacements from a source or two, Classic Industries might have been one of them. Not sure if it can still be had directly from GM.
