4.8 newbie I just got my first ls it’s a 4.8 my question is can I put in a 5.3 crank and run the same rods and pistons that the 4.8 has or do I need to swap them out as well thanks for the help

You'd have to swap the whole rotating assembly. The stroke is longer on the 5.3 and rods are longer on the 4.8. You'd be sticking out of the cylinder by like half an inch or something crazy.
