Default Question about lq4 engine temp

Hello I have a 1938 Oldsmobile business coupe with a 06 lq4 in it and has a aluminum radiator with electric fans and a 180 deg thermostat In it.
how hot is to hot ??
normally it runs 190 sitting in traffic to 199 degs outside temps are in the 80s
this last weekend we was going down the freeway and temperature outside was 100 deg and the car ran 205 and went up to 212 Deg with or with out air conditioning on I turned the ac off thanking 212 was getting hot.
today was 94 and local driving temp went up to 200s again.
thank you for the help

As long as the temp doesn't go above 230 you should be fine. My Camaro would get to 230 on hotter days before the temp would go down, so I programmed my fans to come on sooner. If you have HP Tuners you can program your fans to come on sooner. I now have my first fan come on at around 208F which works when it's not a hot day.

Thank you with the fans running and I was running 80 down the freeway and it was still at those temps I thank the fans kick on at 190 or 200 I would have to look at the log when they kick on.
no I do t have hp tuners Yet I’ve been putting it off getting other things the next thing is a sloppy stage 2 cam and then taking it to a Dyno and having it tuned then I will have a good tune file.
I’m working on bump stear right now I thank I’m getting close I thank I need a little more stiffer spring I have 354# springs up frount and my tie rods are still ramping up a little on a Mustang 2 setup
