vacuum line help?

Default vacuum line help?

i discovered a rubber line dangling under my car today. i can't figure out where it goes. it appears to be a vacuum line. it runs on top of the trans and has 2 small clips that attach it to some thing. there is about 12 inches of it dangling under the car. i have attached a pic. anyone know where it goes? thanks for any help.

i found this rubber vacuum line? dangling under my car today. it appears to run somewhere on top of the transmission and has small clips that attaches it to something. it looks like it a 3/8 or a 5/16th line. it looks like its been off for a while. anyone have a idea where it goes?

That looks to be the transmission vent tube... not sure where it attaches on the F-Body cars, I think it clips to the torque arm.

That is the vent tube for the transmission. It allows fluid to puke out down steam as opposed to on your exhaust causing a flash fire.

It clips onto the torque arm.

Take the clip shown with the green arrow and slide it down a bit to my red mark then clip it on to the torque arm.


Here is where it goes to on the top of the transmission.
