Newbie questions Hey guys,
I'm pretty new to the LS world, so I'm looking for some info. I've got a 1969 Nova that's currently 350 powered. I've got an LQ4(LQ9 after I swap in flat tops)sitting on an engine stand that will make its way into the Nova as soon as I build it. I also picked up a set of 823 rec port heads. Next on my list is to find an LS3 car intake to top it off. Anyway, my question is, who has put 823s on their LQ9 and what's the biggest can you can run without PTV clearance issues? I've heard with these heads and a huge cam, you'll have issues there. My goal is to make around 600 hp with this motor, N/A.
