So I purchased an 02 WS6 all stock car, with my other cars there is a red flashing light on top of the dash, I assume it's a security light but not on this one also the key sequence to change the options for security and exit lighting doesn't work either. Does this mean the Vats system has been bypassed or has the security been disabled some how? Does vats and security work together?
I know that you can install a resistor in the wiring harness of the steering column to bypass vats but I have had column out and didn't see anything like that.
