Default TB/Intake question

what sort of advantages would you see choosing a 90mm intake/tb over a 78mm intake/tb with all bolt ons and maybe h/c?

Just get a ported tb from one of the sponsors. Your intake (ls6 00-02) is plenty.

Most likely no advantages at all. If you have a 90mm TB it doesnt matter because the opening to the intake is still the same size as the stock TB. In order to take advantage of a 90mm TB you need a 90mm intake, like the one from FAST the LSX intake. Id go with the stocker ported and polished, youll see possibly 2-3 horse across the board for all TBs. Good Luck
